The piles will be used as foundation for a new hotel at St. Martin.
The pipes will be battered on depth with the D36 diesel hammer, where they will be filled with grout. The APE Model 50 tandem will pull out the piles, leaving the concrete foundation in the ground.
APE's Model 50 Tandem uses patented technology developed by APE.
This project was an excellent coorperation between APE Holland and CAPE Holland, which delivered the leader and all parts for converting the Hitachi KH 180 into a Hitachi KH-180-PD.

APE Holland has successfully set up an APE Model 50 Tandem and a Model D36 diesel hammer for driving pipe piles on St. Martin, Netherlands Antilles.The piles will be used as foundation for a new hotel at St. Martin.
